Kyle Chandler's performance as Coach Eric Taylor on Friday Night Lights earned him a Primetime Emmy Award and a Critics' Choice Television Award. The role was ranked #8 on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 Greatest TV Performances of All Time and #12 on Entertainment Weekly's list of the 100 Greatest Characters on TV. He was inducted into the Texas Film Hall of Fame in 2012 and received the Key to the City of Austin, Texas, the same year.
