Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, or KKR as it's widely known, stands as a titan in the world of investment. This American firm specializes in managing assets for a diverse clientele, including large institutions, wealthy individuals, family offices, and various companies. Their operations span across three main divisions: asset management, which covers everything from public and private credit to private equity and real estate; insurance, notably through their subsidiary Global Atlantic; and Strategic Holdings. KKR's business model focuses on acquiring and managing companies, often using leveraged buyouts, with the aim of improving their operations and eventually selling them for a profit.
