Kiss n Tell

Aespa dropped Kiss n Tell as the lead single from their first Japanese-language extended play on July 24, 2026. The track arrives through a partnership between SM Entertainment and Warner Music Japan, signaling a deliberate pivot toward the local market while retaining the group's core identity. This release represents the quartet's seventh overall project but stands apart as a focused localization effort featuring six tracks designed for Japanese audiences.

Musically, the song departs from the high-concept sci-fi narratives that defined previous releases in favor of a more intimate sonic palette. Critics describe the production as embracing summer rhythms with bold hooks and an attitude-driven approach that prioritizes immediate engagement over complex lore. The genre blends K-pop and J-Pop elements into an upbeat pop sound tailored for danceable beats suitable for seasonal releases.

The official music video launched alongside the EP on the SMTOWN YouTube channel, accumulating significant early viewership. Teasers and lyric videos preceded the full drop throughout July 2026, building anticipation for the group's entry into the J-Pop sphere. Reviews from outlets like The Bias List and InMusicBlog highlight the track's success in balancing Aespa's futuristic brand with accessible themes of intimacy and secrets. [edit]
