Kiss Me More

Released on April 9, 2021, this track serves as the lead single from Doja Cat's third studio album Planet Her. The song blends bubblegum pop and dance-pop with contemporary R&B elements, featuring a distinct disco bounce that drives the rhythm. Its production incorporates an interpolation of the chorus melody from Olivia Newton-John's 1981 hit Physical, giving the modern arrangement a layer of retro flair while maintaining sharp rap verses.

The music video premiered simultaneously with the single release under the direction of Dave Meyers. It depicts a neon-soaked sci-fi narrative where Doja Cat and SZA portray otherworldly creatures inhabiting a pink planet. Actor Alex Landi appears in the video playing Dr. Nico Kim, a character who navigates this surreal environment to interact with the two main artists.

Critics highlighted the infectious energy and vocal chemistry between the performers throughout the year. The collaboration sparked widespread social media trends and TikTok challenges shortly after its debut. A notable live performance occurred at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, marking their first joint stage appearance for the song. [edit]
