Kevin Spacey is one of the few actors to have won both an Oscar and a Tony Award. His two Academy Awards place him among the most honored performers of his generation. He also received an honorary knighthood (KBE) in 2015 for his services to theatre. His portrayal of Frank Underwood on House of Cards is widely regarded as one of the defining television performances of the 2010s.

AwardsSpacey has won two Academy Awards: Best Supporting Actor for The Usual Suspects (1996) and Best Actor for American Beauty (2000). He also won a Tony Award for Lost in Yonkers (1991), a Golden Globe for House of Cards (2015), two Laurence Olivier Awards, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, and a BAFTA for American Beauty.
