Records

Bednarek's collection of two Olympic silvers and a World Championship gold places him among the most decorated American quarter-lap runners of his era. He is one of only a handful of sprinters to have won medals at three consecutive global championships (Olympics and Worlds). His 19.57 personal best in the 200 meters is among the top 15 times in history, and he has broken 20 seconds more than a dozen times. His consistency on the Diamond League circuit, 10 wins and two final titles, underscores his reliability as a top competitor.
