Keith Reid

Keith Reid's primary achievement lies in the creation of one of the most recognizable songs in rock history. His lyrics for A Whiter Shade of Pale are frequently cited as some of the best in the genre, blending classical references with surreal imagery. The song's induction into the Grammy Hall of Fame stands as a testament to its enduring cultural significance. Beyond this single track, his body of work with Procol Harum represents a unique fusion of poetry and progressive rock that influenced countless artists. His collaboration with John Farnham further cemented his reputation as a versatile songwriter capable of crafting anthems outside the progressive genre.
