Okada's career is defined by records. He holds the longest IWGP Heavyweight Championship reign in history at 720 days, with the most successful defenses (12). His four G1 Climax victories are second only to Masahiro Chono. He was the first Japanese wrestler to top the PWI 500, and his 2018 match with Kenny Omega received the highest star rating ever from Dave Meltzer. In AEW, he set the record for the longest championship reign (647 days as Continental Champion) and became the first Unified Champion. These achievements place him in the conversation for the greatest wrestler of all time.
