Records
Kappa Kappa Psi has initiated over 100,000 members since its founding in 1919, with more than 200 active chapters across the United States. It is one of the oldest continuously operating collegiate band honorary organizations in the country. The fraternity's National Intercollegiate Band program, established in 1947, selects outstanding collegiate band musicians to perform at biennial conventions. The Distinguished Service to Music Medal is the organization's highest honor, awarded to individuals who have made significant contributions to music education.
