Justine Verheul has been part of one of the most dominant eras in women's field hockey. The Netherlands team won three consecutive FIH Pro League titles from 2021 to 2023, a feat no other nation has matched. She contributed to a Guinness World Record for the longest winning streak in international women's hockey, 25 consecutive victories in 2022-2023. The 2024 Olympic gold in Paris completed a full set of major honors: World Cup, European Championship, and Olympic gold. She was inducted into the Knight of the Order of Orange-Nassau, a rare national honor for athletes, alongside her teammates.

AwardsVerheul has won nearly every major team honor in field hockey. She has two Olympic medals, gold in 2024 and silver in 2021, and two World Cup golds (2018, 2022). She also has two EuroHockey Championship golds (2019, 2023) and three FIH Pro League titles (2021, 2022, 2023).
