Julie Delpy

Delpy has received two Academy Award nominations for Best Adapted Screenplay, a rare feat for an actress who co-writes her own roles. Her performance in Before Sunset earned her both an Empire Award and a San Francisco Film Critics Circle Award for Best Actress, placing her among the most critically respected performers in independent cinema. Her work in European films like Europa Europa and Three Colours: White earned her early recognition from the European Film Academy and César nominations. Delpy's ability to move seamlessly between acting, writing, and directing distinguishes her in an industry where few manage all three at her level.
