Del Potro's greatest achievement was winning the 2009 US Open, where he defeated both Nadal and Federer. He is one of only two men to beat Federer in a US Open final. He also secured Olympic medals in two consecutive Games and captained Argentina to its historic first Davis Cup title. His career-high ranking of No. 3 places him among the elite of his generation.
