Zúñiga's career is defined by his contributions to Napoli's resurgence in Italian football. He was part of the squad that ended the club's 22-year trophy drought by winning the Coppa Italia in 2012. His two Coppa Italia titles and the Supercoppa Italiana stand as his most significant team achievements. On the international stage, he was a stalwart for Colombia, earning 61 caps and playing in a World Cup, a feat that few Colombian players have accomplished.
