Josiah Queen

Josiah Queen emerged from Tampa, Florida, to become one of the most talked-about voices in contemporary Christian music. Born on January 11, 2003, the singer-songwriter started sharing his craft while still a teenager. He dropped his first single, "God of Miracles," in 2020 at age 16, setting a tone of spiritual reflection that would define his early years. That initial release caught the attention of industry insiders and fans alike, paving the way for a rapid ascent through the ranks of modern gospel artists. His momentum built steadily over the next few years until he released his debut album, The Prodigal, on May 24, 2024. The record didn't just enter the market; it dominated, claiming the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. The title track became a standout hit, earning a nomination for Pop/Contemporary Song of the Year at the 2024 GMA Dove Awards. This recognition helped cement his status as a serious contender, leading to another nod that same year for New Artist of the Year. His work with the Recording Industry Association of America eventually certified the title track gold, proving his connection with audiences extended far beyond local stages. Queen continues to push boundaries within the genre by blending personal storytelling with polished production. In 2026, he returned to the studio to release "Demons," marking his first new song in several years. This single showcased his growth as an artist who can navigate complex emotional themes while maintaining a sound that resonates with younger listeners. Across his short career, he has established a reputation for authenticity and musical maturity that belies his youth.[edit]
