Josh Hokit

Josh Hokit carved out a unique place in combat sports by excelling at three different professional levels. He became a two-time NCAA qualifier in wrestling while also starting at fullback for Fresno State's football team. That rare combination helped him reach the NFL practice squad before he moved into MMA and earned a UFC contract. His 2020 All-American selection came under unusual circumstances because of the canceled NCAA tournament, yet it still marked him as one of the top heavyweights in college wrestling that year. The attention he received from Donald Trump added another unusual chapter to an already unconventional athletic story.
