Joshua Lemay was born in Bolton, England, but his formative years took place in Canada. He grew up immersed in the world of sports entertainment, eventually deciding to pursue professional wrestling as a career path. His journey began in 2005 when he stepped onto the independent circuit, honing his craft in small venues across North America. These early days were crucial for developing the technical foundation that would later define his persona.

In the late 2000s, he formed a tag team partnership with Ethan Page known as The North. The duo quickly gained traction for their synchronized moves and chemistry, touring organizations like AAW Wrestling and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. They captured tag team gold in both promotions, establishing themselves as one of the most exciting acts on the independent scene. Their success led to a major breakthrough in 2019 when they joined Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, setting the stage for a legendary run. [edit]

The North arrived in TNA in 2019 and immediately made an impact by winning the TNA World Tag Team Championship. Their first reign lasted an impressive 380 days, which remains the longest in the title's history. This dominance cemented them as a powerhouse unit before Page eventually departed for other opportunities.

Following the split, Alexander focused on singles competition and achieved even greater individual acclaim. He won the TNA X Division Championship once and claimed the TNA World Championship two times. His second world title reign lasted 335 days, further solidifying his status as a main event star capable of carrying a promotion. In early 2025, he left TNA to sign with All Elite Wrestling, making his debut in April 2025 as part of the Don Callis Family.

Beyond his in-ring work, Alexander has taken on a leadership role within Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling. He serves as the head coach at the MLP Academy, mentoring the next generation of wrestlers. He also holds the inaugural and current MLP Canadian Championship, blending his competitive drive with developmental responsibilities. As of October 2026, he continues to compete actively while reflecting on past rivalries ahead of major events like MLP Northern Rising. [edit]
