José González

José González's career is marked by commercial success and critical respect, rather than a shelf full of trophies. His debut album Veneer sold over a million copies, a rare feat for an indie folk release. His music has reached millions through licensing, and he has maintained a dedicated fan base for over two decades. His influence is seen in the quiet, intricate style that has become a touchstone in the genre.
