Johnny Walker's career is marked by a rare combination of critical acclaim and commercial success. He is the first Canadian actor to win both a Gemini Award and a Primetime Emmy in consecutive decades. His web series The Basement Tapes won Canada's top digital award, and his transition to Hollywood led to a breakout film that grossed over $220 million.
