John methodically dismantles Viggo's operation, killing his men and seizing his assets. He interrogates a member of the Tarasov organization to learn Iosef's location, leading to a confrontation in a red-lit bathhouse where John dispatches multiple guards. The violence is relentless, but John is not invincible; he takes injuries and pushes through them, driven by a cold, focused rage.

Throughout his quest, John's actions are guided by a strict personal code. He refuses to kill a dog handler who tries to flee, showing a sliver of humanity. He honors his debt to Marcus. But the path to vengeance is narrowing, and John knows that once he kills Iosef, there is no turning back.
