Joel Embiid's career is defined by historic achievements. He is the first center to lead the NBA in scoring since Shaquille O'Neal in 2000, and the first international player ever to win the scoring title. His 2023 MVP season made him the first center since Moses Malone in 1982 to average over 30 points per game. He holds the Philadelphia 76ers franchise record for most points in a game with 70, set in 2024 against the San Antonio Spurs. Embiid also won an Olympic gold medal with Team USA in 2024, adding to his legacy as one of the game's greats.
