Joan Garcia's trophy cabinet already includes an Olympic gold medal and a La Liga title before turning 26. His 146 saves in the 2024/25 La Liga season were the most by any goalkeeper in the competition, and advanced metrics showed he prevented more goals than any other keeper that year. He is the ninth goalkeeper to play for both Barcelona and Espanyol, a rare distinction.
