Jimmy Page is one of the most decorated guitarists in rock history. He has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice: first with the Yardbirds in 1992 and then with Led Zeppelin in 1995, a rare honor shared by only a handful of musicians. In 2005 he was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire for services to music. Rolling Stone ranked him No. 3 on its 2011 list of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time, and he has consistently appeared in the top five across similar lists from NME, VH1, and Time. His song Stairway to Heaven holds a Guinness World Record as one of the most played radio tracks of all time.
