Jimmy McGrory's goal-scoring records are extraordinary. He remains the all-time leading goalscorer in top-flight British football with 550 goals, a mark that has stood for nearly a century. His 468 goals for Celtic are a club record, and his 39 hat-tricks for the club are unmatched. His eight goals in a single league match and his three-minute hat-trick are Scottish records. In 2004, he was inducted into the Scottish Football Hall of Fame.
