Jho Low

While Jho Low has not received traditional accolades, his case stands as a defining moment in modern financial crime history. The 1MDB scandal, which he allegedly orchestrated, involved the theft of over US$4.5 billion, making it one of the largest financial frauds in history. His ability to evade capture for over a decade has become a subject of intense study for law enforcement agencies worldwide. The international manhunt and the subsequent legal battles involving multiple governments highlight the complexity of cross-border financial crimes.
