Jeremy Peña achieved a level of success in his rookie season that few players in history can match. Winning both the ALCS MVP and World Series MVP in the same year is a feat accomplished by only a select few, and doing so as a rookie shortstop adds another layer of difficulty to his accomplishment. His Gold Glove Award further validated his defensive prowess, proving he was not just a clutch hitter but also an elite fielder. These honors collectively mark him as one of the most impactful players of his generation.
