Jeff Ross

Jeff Ross stands as a unique force in comedy, earning the title "Roastmaster General" through decades of perfecting the art of the insult. His achievement lies not just in numbers but in cultural impact; he revitalized the roast format for a new generation, bridging the gap between the old-school humor of Don Rickles and modern sensibilities. Winning Best Film at the Comedia festival for his documentary showcases his versatility beyond just delivering jokes. His ability to turn personal tragedy into comedy, specifically his survival from colon cancer after a roast joke saved his life, adds a layer of resilience to his legacy that few comedians can claim.
