Jason Everman

Everman's achievements are not measured by trophies. He holds the rare distinction of having been a member of both Nirvana and Soundgarden, only one other musician can claim that. His most significant accomplishment may be his military service: he served as an Army Ranger and Green Beret, completing combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. After leaving the service, he earned degrees in philosophy from Columbia University and Norwich University, demonstrating intellectual discipline that matches his physical courage.
