Janice STFU

Canadian rapper Drake released Janice STFU on May 15, 2026 as the fourth track on his ninth studio album Iceman. Distributed through OVO Sound and Republic Records, the song runs for three minutes and 57 seconds before serving as the project's second single. It arrived at American rhythmic contemporary radio on May 19, 2026 alongside 2 Hard 4 the Radio.

The production team included FnZ, b4u, and Rogét Chahayed while the writing credits extended to Aubrey Graham, b4u, Finatik, Zac, Lykke Li, Björn Yttling, and Rick Nowels. An earlier version titled That's How I Feel appeared during the Plot Twist rollout with different producers before Drake secured rights to sample Li's 2010 hit I Follow Rivers. The final iteration blends R&B and hip-hop elements into a groovy yet melancholic soundscape that critics described as an Unc anthem.

Lyrical content features direct attacks on Kendrick Lamar regarding fake activism and record deal legitimacy. The title stems from a viral Joe Budden podcast clip where he shouted shut the fuck up about a friend named Janice. Steffanee Wang of The Fader selected it as the song of summer 2026 while Lykke Li praised the mix of revenge and hip-hop spirit. [edit]
