Jan Jingjing's career is defined by extraordinary consistency and dominance. She is one of only a few divers to win four Olympic gold medals, and her six total Olympic medals are the most ever by a female diver. Her streak of five consecutive World Championship golds in the 3m springboard from 2001 to 2009 remains unmatched. She was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame in 2016 and received China's Order of Sports Merit in 2008.
