That group changed the way the game was played and marketed, introducing baggy shorts, black socks, and a swagger that permeated the NBA. Rose's individual achievements include being a two-time NCAA runner-up and an NBA Finals participant. Off the court, his leadership academy has graduated hundreds of students, earning him widespread respect in the education community.

AwardsJalen Rose did not win major individual NBA awards during his playing career, but his contributions to the Fab Five and the Indiana Pacers are widely recognized. He was inducted into the University of Michigan Hall of Honor in 2019. Rose has also received recognition for his philanthropic work, including the NBA's Community Assist Award in 2012 for his work with the Jalen Rose Leadership Academy.
