Jacy Jayne

Taylor Grado, known professionally as Jacy Jayne, is an American professional wrestler signed to WWE. She performs on the SmackDown brand as the leader of the Fatal Influence stable. Jayne is a two-time NXT Women's Champion, a record-tying two-time NXT Women's Tag Team Champion alongside Gigi Dolin, and a former TNA Knockouts World Champion. She made history as the first active NXT Superstar to win a title in TNA. Known for her cold, calculating persona and ruthless in-ring style, Jayne has become one of the most prominent women in NXT history. As of 2026, she continues to dominate on SmackDown, leading her stable and chasing new championships. [edit]

Grado grew up in the Tampa/Clearwater area of Florida. She began training at the World Wrestling Academy in Florida, learning from veterans like Jay Lethal and Matt Sydal. After several months of training, she made her professional debut on May 30, 2018, in American Combat Wrestling. Competing under the ring name Avery Taylor, she worked the independent circuit for promotions including World Xtreme Wrestling, Shine Wrestling, and Evolve. She honed her skills and built a reputation before signing with WWE in February 2021. [edit]

Jayne debuted on NXT 2.0 in September 2021 as a member of the Toxic Attraction faction alongside Mandy Rose and Gigi Dolin. She and Dolin won the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship twice, tying the record for most reigns. On February 7, 2023, she turned on Dolin, slamming her through a set and launching her singles career. In 2024, she defeated Stephanie Vaquer to win the NXT Women's Championship. She then crossed over to TNA and defeated Masha Slamovich for the TNA Knockouts Championship, becoming the first active NXT star to hold a TNA title. In 2025, she formed the Fatal Influence stable with Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx (later replaced by Lainey Reid). The group moved to SmackDown in 2026, where creative plans shifted to feature Jayne more prominently. [edit]

Jacy Jayne's persona is ruthless, calculating, and confident. WWE characterizes her as cold, calculating, and always in control, someone who rewrites the rules. Her signature style blends athleticism with a poisonous edge. Fans appreciate her adaptability and work ethic, traits she developed during her time in Toxic Attraction. On social media, she engages with fans by sharing behind-the-scenes content and personal activities like wakeboarding. No official fandom name has emerged. [edit]

Jacy Jayne's support base lacks a formal moniker, existing instead as a fervent subset of the broader WWE audience that rallies around her role leading the Fatal Influence stable. Unlike pop stars with organized fan armies deploying billboards or charity drives, her following manifests through intense, reactive crowd dynamics where boos and cheers shift based on her heel persona's narrative dominance. Fans often invoke the 'female Shield' comparison sparked by Bully Ray to contextualize her group's power, treating the faction's victories as a collective triumph rather than individual stardom. Her influence is deeply tied to character work; she manipulates room energy so effectively that critics cite her unmatched crowd control as a defining career trait. This ability makes any feud feel significant, turning standard matches into must-see events for the wrestling community. Despite her global prominence in 2026, iFANN has evaluated her presence without assigning a specific placement in its published lists. She does not currently hold a position in the Global Top 1,000 or any Top-100 scope list. The absence of a numerical rank reflects her status as an evaluated entity within the system rather than a ranked entry. While her fanbase remains nameless and unorganized compared to mainstream icons, their engagement through social media channels and live reactions proves a deep investment in her reign as a dominant heel champion.[edit]

Jacy Jayne spends significant downtime at Clearwater Beach in Florida, frequently seen wakeboarding with friends in September 2023. She describes herself as an overthinker who absorbed every detail during her early career, calling it a sponge-like learning phase under Shawn Michaels. The high-pressure environment of Toxic Attraction felt like sink-or-swim training that forged her current relentless work ethic. A defining moment occurred on August 14, 2026, when she defeated Tiffany Stratton on SmackDown to capture the Women's United States Championship. This victory marked her first reign with the title during a stacked episode where her stable also secured tag team gold. Fans continue to retell the story of her rapid rise from indie wrestler to multi-division champion, noting how her consistent ability to make any feud feel important established her reputation. Critics cite her unmatched crowd control as a recurring trait, solidifying her status as a versatile icon who achieved world-level success in both TNA and NXT before dominating the main roster. The legend of Fatal Influence grew after Bully Ray publicly compared the group to The Shield, creating a foundational story about their intended prestige. Wrestling databases highlight her unique skill in manipulating crowd reactions, ensuring every match feels vital regardless of the opponent.[edit]
