Jacob deGrom stands as one of the most dominant pitchers in modern baseball history. His two Cy Young Awards and two perfect games within a 12-month span place him in rare company alongside legends like Sandy Koufax and Nolan Ryan. By 2026, statistical analyses suggest he holds the lowest career WHIP and second-lowest ERA in the live-ball era among pitchers with over 1,000 innings, solidifying his future induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

AwardsJacob deGrom's trophy case is extensive, reflecting his status as a generational talent. He has won two Cy Young Awards (2018, 2019), the National League Rookie of the Year (2014), and five All-Star selections (2015, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2025).
