JackBoys 2

Travis Scott and the Cactus Jack collective returned with JackBoys 2 on July 13, 2025, releasing a 17-track compilation under an exclusive license to Epic Records. The project serves as a direct follow-up to the 2019 debut, expanding the roster's footprint with a lineup that includes Playboi Carti, Future, SahBabii, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Kodak Black, Don Toliver, Sheck Wes, GloRilla, Tyla, and Vybz Kartel. Bun B provides narrative glue through skits scattered throughout the runtime, while deluxe editions added bonus cuts featuring Yeat and Luxury Tax 2.

Commercially, the album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 with 232,000 album-equivalent units in its first week. That figure included roughly 160,000 pure sales alongside 72,000 streaming equivalent units, marking a significant commercial win despite mixed critical reception. Six singles supported the rollout, ranging from "ILMB" with Sheck Wes to "PBT," which featured Tyla and Vybz Kartel. The official video for "PBT" arrived later on December 18, 2025, showcasing a Tokyo-shot aesthetic that critics described as luxe and sultry.

Critical response remained sharply divided, with Anthony Fantano awarding the project a 2/10 and Pitchfork dismissing it as a branding exercise. Rolling Stone offered a more measured take, viewing the release as a necessary showcase for the label's talent. The release date itself sparked controversy when it coincided with Clipse's new album, leading Pusha T and Malice to accuse Scott of crashing their window. Pusha T eventually dismissed the feud, stating simply that everyone cheats. [edit]
