Jack Fisk is a four-time Academy Award nominee for production design, a rare achievement that places him among the most respected art directors in film history. He has designed all of Terrence Malick's first eight films, an unmatched collaboration that produced some of the most visually stunning American movies. His work on The Revenant required building a 19th-century wilderness from scratch, while Killers of the Flower Moon involved recreating 1920s Oklahoma with painstaking accuracy. In 2016, the Museum of the Moving Image held a retrospective of his work, titled See it Big! Jack Fisk, cementing his legacy as a master of cinematic world-building.
