Jack Cartwheel

Jack Summit, known in the ring as Jack Cartwheel, is an American professional wrestler who brings a high-flying, acrobatic style to every match. At 25, he is signed to Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, a promotion with ties to WWE, and has made waves on the independent scene and in NXT. His cartwheel-based offense and daredevil persona have made him a standout among rising stars. Fans know him for his fearless athleticism and the bright, masked look that recalls classic luchadores while keeping his own identity. He is currently competing in the 2025 NXT Breakout Tournament, a sign of the momentum he carries.[edit]

Jack Summit grew up in California, drawn to professional wrestling from a young age. He admired high-flyers like Rey Mysterio and Jeff Hardy, whose styles inspired his own. He trained in gymnastics and acrobatics, which gave him the foundation for the flips and cartwheels that would become his trademark. Making his debut on the California independent circuit around 2019, he adopted the ring name Jack Cartwheel as a direct nod to his signature move. He quickly became a regular at smaller promotions like Championship Wrestling from Hollywood, where his athleticism turned heads. Before the national spotlight, he worked his way up through the local scene, often driving hours for a single match. His first big break came with Game Changer Wrestling in 2021, where his fearless style in scramble and deathmatch bouts earned him a following. By 2022, he had caught the attention of Ring of Honor and All Elite Wrestling, setting the stage for his move to a major promotion.[edit]

Jack Cartwheel's breakthrough came in 2023 when he signed with Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, a promotion with a partnership with WWE. This move lifted him from the indies to an international stage. He made his AAA debut later that year, quickly adapting to the fast-paced, high-flying style of lucha libre. In 2024, the AAA-WWE partnership opened the door to NXT, where he debuted on August 27 in a match against Dante Chen. He has since made regular appearances on NXT, showcasing his cartwheel offense to a wider audience. A major milestone came in 2025 when he was announced as a participant in the NXT Breakout Tournament, a competition that has launched careers. Alongside his NXT work, he continues to wrestle for AAA and takes select independent bookings, building a reputation as one of the most exciting young talents in the ring.[edit]

The narrative surrounding him is defined by his athletic style and recent career trajectory rather than mythic incidents or viral folklore. Fans describe his signature moves like the 'Jack Attack' and the cartwheel splash from the top rope to the outside as memorable moments, but these remain verified in-ring techniques rather than cultural legends. A notable instance of interaction occurred at a local independent show where he performed a high-risk maneuver after yelling 'CARTWHEEL,' creating a brief, informal connection that resonated with attendees. As of mid-2026, he is signed to AAA following a stint in WWE developmental systems, though recent reports indicate he is sidelined due to an elbow injury sustained at GCW's 'The WRLD On Lucha' event. This medical chapter marks his current reality more than any legendary status.[edit]

His ring name derives directly from his go-to move: the cartwheel. He wears a mask covering the lower half of his face, blending luchador aesthetics with a modern look. Cartwheel possesses a gymnastics background that fuels his moonsaults and springboard attacks. He has wrestled for over a dozen independent promotions in California alone. Despite his high-flying style, he has competed in deathmatches for GCW, showing remarkable versatility. An avid video game fan, he streams occasionally on Twitch. His favorite wrestler growing up was Rey Mysterio, and he once stated his dream opponent is Will Ospreay. In April 2026, a significant incident occurred at GCW's 'The WRLD On Lucha' event where he suffered an elbow injury during a match against Galeno Del Mal. Reports confirmed he did not require surgery but faced a recovery period with MRI scans scheduled later that month. By June 2026, updates indicated he would be out for six months. In May 2026, he moved to a full-time contract with AAA, leaving WWE behind. Industry editors had previously called for his immediate promotion to the main roster in December 2025, signaling his status as rising talent worth watching.[edit]
