Iuliia Mendel

Iuliia Mendel's career has been defined by her proximity to power rather than by formal accolades. As press secretary to a wartime president, she held one of the most visible communications roles in Ukraine, a position that required composure under extreme pressure. Her two memoirs, particularly The Fight of Our Lives, reached an international audience and offered a firsthand account of leadership during crisis. While she has not collected industry awards, her books and commentary have sparked global conversations about the war and the nature of political loyalty.
