About This Album
"It's Me" is a song by the South Korean girl group Illit, issued on April 30, 2026, through Belift Lab as the lead single from the group's fourth Korean mini album, Mamihlapinatapai. The five members, Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee and Iroha, debuted on March 25, 2024, with the EP Super Real Me after being assembled on the 2023 JTBC survival program R U Next?; the single arrived roughly two years into that run. Copyright and phonographic credits on the release read 2026 Belift Lab on both counts.
On the record itself the track sits second in the sequence, and a standalone single version runs 2 minutes 26 seconds. Genius notes it was the most heavily teased and promoted song ahead of the mini album, which fits its billing as lead single. A music video and a separate performance video went to Illit's official channels, with a color-coded lyric video also in circulation.
Reception was mixed in tone. A review published by The Bias List on the day of release grouped the song with what it called meme music of the kind turned out lately by fellow Hybe girl groups Katseye and LE SSERAFIM, a description that reads as ambivalent rather than admiring. No producer or songwriter credits surface in the available material, and neither chart placements nor certification figures for the single have been located.
The song has since been superseded in the group's release schedule. Promotions in October 2026 centered on a comeback titled "I'll Arrest You," with Wonhee telling press that the new album was her favorite to date and a Chosun report on October 26 framing the return in the language of a nationwide arrest.
