Isaiah Thomas's career is a story of defying the odds. As the last pick of the 2011 draft, he became one of the most productive second-round selections in NBA history, earning two All-Star nods and an All-NBA Second Team selection. His 2016-17 season with the Boston Celtics ranks among the greatest for a player under 6 feet tall: he finished fifth in MVP voting, led the league in fourth-quarter scoring, and carried the Celtics to the Eastern Conference Finals. His 53-point playoff game in 2017 is a Celtics postseason record. Though injuries cut his prime short, Thomas's impact as an undersized scoring guard inspired a generation of players.

AwardsThomas won two NBA All-Star selections (2016, 2017), All-NBA Second Team (2017), and NBA All-Rookie Second Team (2012). He was named Eastern Conference Player of the Month twice and Player of the Week four times. In college, he was Pac-10 All-Conference First Team (2011) and an Associated Press All-America Honorable Mention.
