Naughty Dog is stepping into uncharted territory with Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, a bold new action-adventure game coming exclusively to PlayStation 5. Set thousands of years from now, it follows Jordan A. Mun, a bounty hunter voiced by Tati Gabrielle, who finds herself stranded on a remote planet while tracking a dangerous crime syndicate. This marks Naughty Dog's first original property since The Last of Us in 2013, and the studio is swinging for the fences.

Development kicked off in 2020, right after The Last of Us Part II shipped, with creative director Neil Druckmann leading a team that includes game directors Matthew Gallant and Kurt Margenau, and narrative director Claire Carré. Druckmann assembled a dedicated writers' room to build a deep, fictional religion and thousands of years of backstory, drawing inspiration from anime classics.
