Ineos

Ineos Group Limited is a British multinational giant that got its start in chemicals but has since grown into so much more. Founded in 1998 by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who still chairs the company and owns the biggest stake, Ineos has expanded by snapping up underperforming businesses from bigger companies. It operates with a decentralized structure, where many different business units work pretty much independently.

By 2025, Ineos was the ninth-largest chemical producer worldwide. But their interests don't stop there; they're involved in fuels, packaging, food production, construction materials, automotive manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, textiles, and even professional sports. A really interesting move was the creation of INEOS Automotive, which introduced the Grenadier. This is a tough 4x4 vehicle designed to bring back the practical utility of older off-roaders.
