Ice Poseidon

Paul Michael Joseph Denino, known as Ice Poseidon, is an American Internet personality, live streamer, and YouTuber who pioneered the IRL (in-real-life) streaming genre. He first gained a following on Twitch playing Old School RuneScape before transitioning to broadcasting his daily life, which he called life streaming. Rolling Stone recognized him as a pioneer life streamer. At his peak in 2017, his chaotic, unscripted streams drew massive audiences, but also frequent swatting incidents and platform bans. Today, Denino streams on Kick and posts to YouTube from Austin, Texas. His fanbase, known as the Cx community, follows his unfiltered content and ongoing controversies. His astrological sign is Libra. [edit]

Denino was born on September 29, 1994, in Palm Beach, Florida. He attended college to study finance, but his interest in gaming and streaming took over. He started streaming on Twitch in 2014, focusing on Old School RuneScape. His early streams built a small but dedicated audience that would later become the core of his Cx community. [edit]

Denino's breakthrough came in 2017 when he shifted to IRL streaming, broadcasting his daily life and interactions with fans. His streams reached peak popularity that year, but also drew severe swatting incidents. In 2017, a viewer called in a bomb threat, causing Denino to be swatted off an airplane at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Twitch permanently banned him. He moved to YouTube, then signed an exclusive deal with Mixer, which shut down in July 2020. In 2021, he was involved in the CXCOIN cryptocurrency pump-and-dump scheme, admitting to taking over $500,000 from the liquidity pool and profiting over $300,000. He pledged to reimburse $150,000, but only $50,000 was verified returned. On May 6, 2023, he started streaming on Kick. On June 28, 2023, he was arrested in Bangkok, Thailand, for live-streaming himself giving his girlfriend a lap dance, charged with violating anti-pornography laws. He published an apology video on Twitter. The charges were dropped on August 18, 2023, and he left Thailand. As of 2026, he continues to stream on Kick and produce YouTube content from Austin, Texas. [edit]

Ice Poseidon is known for his chaotic, unscripted IRL streams where he interacts with fans and strangers in public. His content is raw, unfiltered, and often disruptive, earning him a reputation as a controversial figure. Media portrayals focus on swatting incidents, platform bans, and legal troubles. His fanbase, the Cx community, embraces the chaos. His social media voice is direct and confrontational, often followed by apologies after controversies. Fans connect with his unfiltered authenticity and willingness to push boundaries. His fanbase calls themselves the Cx (Cancer) community, a self-deprecating term. [edit]

The community surrounding Paul Denino, known as Ice Poseidon, operates less like a traditional fandom and more like a chaotic congregation of observers drawn to unscripted real-life drama. While the search results suggest loose aggregations on subreddits like /r/Ice_Poseidon2, the iFANN-documented official moniker for this audience is simply CX. These fans do not organize around charity drives or birthday billboards; they gather to witness the creator's self-described chaos, often documenting his legal troubles and public altercations rather than celebrating artistic achievements. The mythology built by this group is defined by high-stakes incidents, from viral collaborations with major streamers to allegations of predatory behavior and physical confrontations in diners. Viewers tune in not for shared rituals, but to watch a provocateur navigate the consequences of his own storylines. Despite the intense engagement and millions of followers across platforms, the global landscape of fame does not currently recognize him with a specific placement in the top tiers of celebrity influence. According to the latest evaluation by the Global Fame Engine, Ice Poseidon is currently evaluated but does not hold a placement in the published rankings. This status reflects a figure who dominates niche attention while remaining outside the highest echelons of verified global stardom.[edit]
