Huddersfield Town Association Football Club, affectionately known as "The Terriers," was established on August 15, 1908, in West Yorkshire, England. The club currently competes in EFL League One, the third tier of English football. Their home ground is the Kirklees Stadium, which is referred to as the Accu Stadium for sponsorship purposes. The club's traditional colors of blue and white stripes were adopted in 1913, and their emblem is inspired by the town's coat of arms.

The club experienced its golden age in the 1920s under manager Herbert Chapman, securing the First Division title in the 1923-24 and 1924-25 seasons. A third consecutive league championship followed in 1925-26 under Cecil Potter. Huddersfield Town also achieved FA Cup success, winning the trophy in 1922 and reaching several other finals. Following a long stay in the top flight, they were relegated in 1952 but earned immediate promotion back. The club's fortunes have varied over the decades, moving between divisions and enduring a challenging period in the 1970s before experiencing a revival in the 1980s.

More recently, Huddersfield Town made a return to the Premier League in 2017 after play-off victories, though their stay lasted only two seasons.
