Hurkacz's achievements are historic for Polish tennis. He is the first Polish man to win an ATP Masters 1000 title, and his career-high ranking of No. 6 is the best ever for a Polish male player. His consistent presence in the top 10 and his Grand Slam semifinal run have made him a national hero.
