Hossam Hassan is one of the most decorated African footballers of all time. He is Egypt's all-time top scorer with 69 goals, a record that has stood for over two decades. With 177 international caps, he ranks 15th in men's football history. He won 14 Egyptian Premier League titles, more than any other player, and three CAF Champions League crowns with two different clubs. His longevity and consistency at the highest level are unmatched in Egyptian football. He was inducted into the CAF African Legends Hall of Fame and named among the 100 greatest African footballers of all time.

AwardsHossam Hassan won two Africa Cup of Nations titles (1986, 1998), three CAF Champions League crowns (2001, 2002, 2006), and 14 Egyptian Premier League titles. He also won the CAF Super Cup (2002), Arab Club Champions Cup (2003), and multiple Egypt Cups. Individually, he was the Egyptian Premier League top scorer three times and was named to the CAF Team of the Year multiple times.
