Hollywood's Bleeding

Post Malone returned in September 2019 with Hollywood's Bleeding, a sprawling third studio album that fused alternative hip-hop, rap rock, and synth-pop into a cohesive sonic tapestry. Released through Republic Records, the record features thirteen tracks populated by a star-studded lineup including DaBaby, Future, Halsey, Ozzy Osbourne, Travis Scott, SZA, and Young Thug. While Louis Bell handled most of the production duties, contributions from Andrew Watt, BloodPop, and Emile Haynie helped shape an eclectic sound that balances dark introspection with radio-ready hooks.

The project debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 with nearly half a million units sold in its first week, marking Malone's second chart-topper. Six singles emerged from the sessions, led by "Circles" which reached the summit of the Hot 100, while "Sunflower" (a collaboration with Swae Lee) had already secured its own spot as a number-one hit earlier that year. Critics praised the album for its maturity and genre-blending approach, earning it a nomination for Album of the Year at the 2021 Grammy Awards and eventually quadruple platinum certification in the United States.
