Hirayasumi

Hirayasumi is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Keigo Shinzō. It started serialization in Shogakukan's Weekly Big Comic Spirits on April 26, 2021. The story focuses on Hiroto, a relaxed young man living in Tokyo, and his college-aged cousin, Natsumi. Their lives are depicted through the lens of everyday experiences, highlighting small joys and minor challenges.

Shinzō's gentle art style complements the narrative, creating a reflective and warm atmosphere. The manga has been recognized for its quality, earning the 71st Shogakukan Manga Award in the general category in 2026. Its themes of friendship, family, and the pursuit of contentment resonate with readers, positioning it within the iyashikei, or healing, genre.

The manga has since been adapted into a live-action television drama that aired in late 2025. An anime adaptation is also slated for release in early 2027. The collected volumes of the manga exceed 400 pages.[edit]
