Himanta Biswa Sarma

Himanta Biswa Sarma's political career is marked by his rare feat of being elected from the same constituency six times consecutively, a testament to his enduring popularity. He has held multiple key portfolios over two decades, including Health, Education, and Finance, and was instrumental in implementing the Atal Amrit Abhishek scheme, which provides free critical illness treatment.
