Beyond group work, Takao has expanded into television. He has made guest appearances on shows like Love Music and Buzz Rhythm, and in 2026 he is set to co-star in the romantic comedy series Yukari-kun wa Gap ga Zurui. Hayato Takao was born on September 17, 1999, in Mishima City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Growing up in a region known for its scenic views of Mount Fuji, he developed an early interest in music and performance. As a teenager, he joined Stardust Promotion's EBiDAN talent development program, a well-known pipeline for young male idols.

His first significant step came as a member of Satori Boys Club, an EBiDAN unit. During this period, he balanced activities with the group while also preparing for a larger debut. The training and stage experience from Satori Boys Club proved essential, sharpening his rap and dance abilities. After a period of dual involvement, he committed fully to ONE N' ONLY, which would become his primary platform. [edit]

Hayato Takao's breakthrough arrived with ONE N' ONLY, where he took on the role of leader, rapper, and dancer. The group quickly gained traction in Japan's idol scene, known for energetic performances and a blend of pop and hip-hop sounds. Alongside group activities, Takao pursued solo television opportunities. He appeared on music programs like Love Music and Buzz Rhythm in 2015, Uta no Sunset in 2022, and The Weekly 99 Music in 2023. In 2024, he was a regular on the variety show Dan! Dan! Ebidan! Season 2. On social media, he engages with fans through behind-the-scenes photos and personal updates, fostering a sense of closeness. The Takao brothers' dual presence in the idol world adds to his appeal, as fans enjoy tracking their respective careers. [edit]

These moments, ranging from lineup changes to sibling collaborations, form the core of his documented public narrative rather than mythical lore.[edit]
