Hal Rogers

Hal Rogers's career is defined by his longevity and institutional power. As dean of the House since 2022, he is the longest-serving current member, a testament to his electoral durability and influence. He chaired the full House Appropriations Committee from 2011 to 2016, controlling federal spending.
