Guy Sebastian's career is marked by remarkable consistency and achievement. He is the only male artist in Australian chart history to achieve six number-one singles, and he ranks third overall among all Australian acts for this feat. His debut single "Angels Brought Me Here" was the best-selling song in Australia for the entire 2000s decade. He has won seven ARIA Awards, including Best Pop Release and Best Video, and multiple APRA Awards for songwriting. His international collaboration with Lupe Fiasco on "Battle Scars" brought him global recognition, and his fifth-place finish at Eurovision 2015 remains Australia's best result at the time. In 2019, he was appointed Member of the Order of Australia for his contributions to music and charity, and in 2024, he was inducted into the South Australian Music Hall of Fame.
